National Handloom Day

The threads of our heritage are woven with love, skill, and timeless artistry. On National Handloom Day, our children proudly represented the culture and tradition of our land by wearing beautiful handloom-made dresses to school. Each outfit told a story — of the weaver’s dedication, the richness of our state’s heritage, and the importance of preserving these age-old crafts. The students spoke with pride about why and how we must protect this tradition, understanding that handlooms are not just clothing, but a living symbol of our cultural identity. Through this celebration, our young learners became ambassadors of our heritage — carrying forward the message that every thread woven is a step towards sustaining the artistry, livelihood, and dignity of countless artisans.
